Professional Development Workshop - Women in Transportation Puget Sound

The focus of the workshop is to help people, especially women in the transportation field, understand how AI is influencing how we design, plan, and build within the transportation industry.

Studies show that women are less likely than their male colleagues to employ the use of AI tools, and this workshop is an effort to fill in that knowledge gap. Additionally, we’ll ask attendees to consider the ethics and sustainability of AI. Our objective is for workshop attendees to walk away with:

  • An understanding of AI tools being used in the transportation industry.

  • Practical experience with AI tools relevant to their profession.

  • Connections with other people in the transportation field.

  • Additional handouts and resources.
